What exactly do you do?

Where do I even start…….

Well, I can be involved in your planning as little or as much as you would like. For full planning services, I typically would assist with defining your overall wedding vision, design and décor ideas, creating and managing a budget, and all things vendor related- suggestions, appointments, bookings, contracts, etc.- as needed. I would also help with creating to-do lists, wedding day timeline creation, coordinating all of your vendors, and executing your vision for the big day. I’ll also be the main point of contact for everyone and anyone on your wedding day so you can sit back, relax, and soak in as much as you can- stress free!

For coordination packages, you plan, I coordinate. I typically would jump in about a month or two before the big day. I would discuss your overall vision, help with the coordination all of your vendors, wedding day timeline creation, and, of course, executing your vision for the big day. I will also be the main point of contact for everyone and anyone on your wedding day so you can sit back, relax, and soak in as much as you can- stress free!

My venue has an Event Planner/ Maitre D/ Venue Coordinator on staff, do I still need to hire additional help?

It definitely depends. Make sure to sit down and ask your on-site coordinator exactly what their responsibilities will be for your wedding day (and also decide how much help you really need). Will they assist with vendor referrals while researching? Will they assist with budget creation and management? Will they help you with to-do lists throughout the planning process? Will they create a timeline for the day? Will they organize and direct your vendors as they arrive? Will they oversee set up and break down? Will they have someone with both sides of the wedding party to ensure you stay on time during the getting ready time? Will they help with the ceremony details (if it is off-site)? Keep all of these questions in mind as you make your decision.

Do you work alone, or do you bring an assistant with you?

I firmly believe that two sets of eyes and two sets of hands are better than one. I always have an assistant on hand to help on the day of your special event.
